Stampin' Up! Peace on Earth

There may not be Peace on Earth at the present, but there is peace in my spirit. My husband's surgery was successful today and the doctor is hoping the incisions will heal quickly and the infection will stay at bay so they can reinsert a port to continue with his chemo.

So, I was able to get my daily chores done and a nice, easy card made. I chose three challenges for my card:

Try Stampin' - or not - on Tuesday! - #333 with the optional theme of "Dog Days of Summer". My card is quite far from summery! Here's Dawn's wonderful sketch, which I altered just a little.

It's been awhile since I have been able to participate in challenges or make cards and I'm thankful I was able to do it tonight. Thanks for hanging in there with me!

If you are interested in the stamps and die cuts I used, you can find them by clicking on the catalogs button, above left. Colors are Garden Green, Kraft, and Whisper White. The washi tape is from the retired Warmth and Cheer. If I can help you, please let me know.

Thanks for looking.
