I Scream, You Scream, We all Scream for ...

Yes, that's right...ICE CREAM!! You don't even want to know how long it took me to make this gatefold shutter card. But, I'm hoping Try Stamping on Tuesday likes how I interpreted their sketch...then it will have been worth it. You can also find TSOT on Facebook. Hope you will visit them. Sorry, Cheryl, there's no garden theme to make you feel warmer, but you can think how summer is great for having ice cream!

I used up the last of my favorite DSP from the Birthday Bouquet retired paper. I paired it with Mint Macaron (retiring 5/31/17) and Blushing Bride. I didn't get the inside shutter glued properly and the Fast Fuse ripped the cardstock. So, I just took thin scraps of the "ice cream" and reversed it. The sentiments came from the Sprinkles of Life stamp set.

It's always ice cream time in Florida so I might see if I can find a real ice cream cone today!

Thanks for looking.

  1. Karen - you definitely put some love and time into making this gorgeous card! Your design fit this week's theme to a tee! In my mind's eye I see ice cream cones popping up all over... the best kind of "garden" to have :-) Well done! -Donna
