Dance

Tonight my friend, Mary, will be making a card live on Facebook. She posted it in her blog today for an Autism blog hop by various card makers...such a worthy cause. I will be watching her tonight, but I have already CASE'd her card and am entering mine in Making Memories Challenge #3 - Add Some Layers. You can see Mary's card on her Facebook page Stamps-n-Lingers and hopefully, you will tune in. She's creative AND funny. 

Here's my card...

For my card base I used Whisper White, then a layer of Night of Navy, Canary Yellow, a layer of Whisper White stamped with the lace pattern from Touches of Texture, a layer of navy, yellow and another of white stamped with one of the stamps from Beautiful You. It's the first time I have ever done paper piecing...which is a little bit like cutting out paper dolls! I used the Affectionately Yours DSP. All products are Stampin Up with the exception of Canary Yellow which is from the defunct Office Max! Here's the inside...
I added an Affectionately Yours washi tape strip because, apparently, the card base was going to be used for another card and there was a strip of glued on...and I mean GLUED on DSP that didn't match my card! I did the same layers as the front and stamped one of the sentiments from Beautiful You.
