Under the Sea

Visit the Paper Craft Crew and play along with Sketch Challenge 235. #pcc2017 #sketch #papercraftcrew www.papercraftcrew.com

As you can see from my photo below, my card base is black, the mat is Sahara Sand and my Whisper White layer is embossed to look like bubbles. I carried the bubble effect onto the mat using VersaMark ink and a stamp from Timeless Textures. My waves, which have a hint of green in them, are die cut from Swirly Scribbles Thinlits. My turtles are Stampin' Up's retired "From Land to Sea" stamp set. I used a watercolor paper from Tim Holtz colored with green ink, stamped them with black Staz On, then fussy cut them. The three sequins are SU Fancy Frost Sequins. The scalloped circle behind the sentiment (a sticker!) is Mint Macaron glimmer paper. The button is from an old blouse and the thread is from a Paper Pumpkin kit. I feel like the card has motion to it. Hope my soon-to-be eight year old penpal likes it. She loves turtles and the water.

Here's the inside!

Thanks for looking!

    1. Thank you, Mary! I had fun creating it. I don't know if it will fly with the challenges, but that makes no difference as long as my little Hazel loves it too.

    1. Thank you, Gloria. The subscribe button was all the way down on the bottom. It is not at the top to make it easier...I would love a subscriber...you would be my first and, hopefully, not last!
