Pet Sympathy

On our way home from our trip north this summer, we stayed with friends just outside of Atlanta. Their children are their pets. Since we have known them, they have had Sonny and Cher. Then when they passed, they got Butch and Sundance. Butch passed and they got Glory. Sundance decided he didn't like his name so they started calling him Gus. While we were there, Gus was diagnosed with cancer. A month later he crossed the rainbow bridge. He was such a gentle giant.

I made this card for them. I was waiting to find a paw print stamp and Thursday I found it at Michael's. RIP Gus...we will meet again.

I used Basic Gray for the card base, DSP from SU Timeless Elegance, Sahara Sand and Very Vanilla for the layers. The hearts are silver Glimmer paper and punched out. On the inside the hearts are from God's Beauty and the corners were punched using the Corner Trio from SU.

We will miss that boy when we go to visit again!
